Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees plans to retire at the end of the season, league sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The 68-year-old has been a part of the Ravens' staff since 2010, and has coordinated their defense since 2012. He came to Baltimore after a four-year stint as the defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.

The Ravens can extend Pees' stay with a win Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals that will clinch a playoff spot for the NFC North club.

Baltimore owns the league's fourth-best scoring defense heading into Week 17.
