Cincinnati Bengals safety George Iloka's one-game suspension for a hit to Antonio Brown's head was reduced to a $36,464 fine on appeal, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Iloka lowered his shoulder into Brown's helmet during a game-tying touchdown. The NFL also suspended Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster for his illegal block on Vontaze Burfict, which came earlier on in the same drive. The rookie wideout lost his appeal, however.
The veteran safety will now be eligible to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears and has avoided losing out on a $235,000 game check.
