Teddy Bridgewater didn't get to play in his first game being active since the 2015 playoffs, but just suiting up certainly had his emotions all over the place.

Before the Minnesota Vikings' win over the Washington Redskins, cameras caught Bridgewater wiping tears from his eyes as he took the bench in uniform after recovering from a potential career-ending knee injury.

"Man, I was trying to keep it together," Bridgewater told ESPN's Dianna Russini after the game. "But it's just, opportunities like these don't come around twice. When you get that second opportunity, you cherish it. And you hold it. You never want to let it go.

"Today it got the best of me."

It remains unclear if Bridgewater will actually hit the field this season, but for the moment, he appears happy just to be suiting up.
