Report: Elliott leaving country during suspension to train, clear head
Tim Heitman / USA TODAY Sports
Now that Ezekiel Elliott is serving his six-game suspension, the Dallas Cowboys running back is leaving the country to clear his head and keep in shape for a potential playoff run, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The location has not yet been disclosed.
Elliott is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 1 when he will appeal the ban. He won't be eligible to return to action until the Cowboys' Week 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
An injunction on his suspension was denied Thursday.
