Cam Newton might not know the Titanic sank

Cam Newton might want to brush up on his early 20th century history a little bit.
The Carolina Panthers quarterback spoke about losing receiver Kelvin Benjamin in a trade earlier this week, and made a strange comparison when talking about the offense going forward after a 20-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Titanic, of course, was a ship that ultimately sank, so that's probably not the best analogy to use to describe your team's offense. Perhaps Newton can spare three hours when he's watching game film this week to see how the movie ends.
