Oakland Raiders star running back Marshawn Lynch's one-game suspension has been upheld on appeal, NFL VP of football communications Michael Signora announced Tuesday.
Lynch will miss Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
The veteran runner was banned for shoving an official after running on the field and interjecting himself into a confrontation between Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters - his cousin - and several Raiders teammates during Thursday's matchup.
Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington will see increased carries in Lynch's absence.
