Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams sustained a concussion and spent the night in hospital after taking a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit from Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan during Thursday night's win, NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart announced Friday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport added that Adams' MRI came back clean.
Later on Friday, Adams confirmed on Twitter that he'd been released from the hospital and was back home:

Adams needed to be stretchered off after Trevathan launched himself at the pass-catcher's helmet while he was fighting for more yards in the third quarter.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said "everything looks positive" with Adams after the 35-14 victory.
Adams will have 10 days to move through the concussion protocol ahead of a Week 5 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
