Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams was taken off the field on a stretcher Thursday night after taking a vicious head shot from Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan.
Adams was battling for more yards after catching a pass from Aaron Rodgers in the third quarter when Trevathan launched himself at his opponent's helmet. The Bears defender was given a 15-yard penalty on the play but somehow avoided an ejection.
