Upon being found dead due to an apparent suicide Wednesday, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had the words "John 3:16" written on his forehead, sources told WBZ CBS Boston.
The words refer to one of the most popular verses from the Bible:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life

Hernandez also appeared to have red marks on his hands and feet.
WBZ is also reporting that law enforcement is looking into the possibility that Hernandez smoked a synthetic marijuana called K2 the night before his death.
