Frank Gore still has it.
The Indianapolis Colts running back made some history in Sunday's season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars, becoming the oldest running back to record 1,000 rushing yards since a 35-year-old John Riggins in 1984.
Running backs have long struggled to sustain any sort of high-level success beyond their late 20s, but Gore's ninth career 1,000-yard season comes at the age of 33.
Making the accomplishment all the more impressive is the fact that Gore is the first Colts player to reach the millennium mark since Joseph Addai did so back in 2007.
Gore remains under contract next season for the third and final season of the free-agent deal he signed to join the Colts back in 2015.
