The NFL announced Monday the "Pro Bowl Skills Showdown," a new competition that will take place during Pro Bowl week.
The event will feature AFC and NFC players (the Pro Bowl has scrapped the fantasy draft format), competing in a series of skill challenges including:
- Dodgeball
- A relay race
- A precision passing event, in which players will try to throw the ball and hit moving targets
- A best hands competition, in which receivers and quarterbacks will compete in pairs
The production company behind "American Ninja Warrior" and "Hell's Kitchen" will produce the event. It will air on Thursday, Jan. 26 on ESPN.
