The Denver Broncos have claimed running back Justin Forsett off waivers, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The veteran was released by the Detroit Lions on Saturday.
In a corresponding move, the Broncos placed backup running back Kapri Bibbs on IR with an ankle injury.
Forsett didn't make much noise in Detroit, nor in his previous stop in Baltimore, but he's a familiar face for Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak and can serve as reliable depth behind rookie Devontae Booker.
