Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been medically cleared to return to the field, head coach John Fox told reporters Tuesday.
Cutler has been sidelined since Week 2 with a thumb injury.
Cutler is expected to start for the Bears in a Halloween night clash against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday.

Fox praised the veteran passer's demeanor during his injury.
"He's been at the bit for a while," Fox said of Cutler, according to Zach Zaidman of the Chicago Bears Radio Network. "He's been a great teammate."
Fox also announced quarterback Brian Hoyer will likely be placed on injured reserve after breaking his arm in the Bears' loss last Thursday.
