Some late progress during the practice week appears to have Brandon Marshall poised to play, despite battling through a pair of injuries.

The New York Jets wide receiver is expected to be active Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs while playing under a snap count, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

A workload limitation all but confirms Marshall is less than 100 percent, but any availability this week is a positive development for the Jets' offense.

Marshall returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after sitting out the two days prior with knee and foot injuries suffered in last week's win over the Buffalo Bills.

The six-time Pro Bowler has been productive even when dealing with injuries, so he'll remain a focal point for the Chiefs defense whenever he's on the field. His snap count could push Eric Decker into a role as New York's top receiver, while also creating an opportunity for Quincy Enunwa to see more opportunities with the starters.
