Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Targeted five times against Jags

Evans caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Saturday's preseason game against the Jaguars.

Analysis:

While inefficient from a per-target perspective, Evans had a 14-yard gain on a 4th-and-2, then later caught a fade pass for a four-yard touchdown on the same drive. He accounted for half of the targets while Jameis Winston was in the game, continuing a trend from last season, when Evans had 147 targets despite missing one contest and playing while hobbled in a few others.
