Report: NFL draft prospect Tyler Higbee charged with assault, evading police

Former Western Kentucky tight end Tyler Higbee was arrested and charged Sunday with second-degree assault, alcohol intoxication in a public place, and second-degree evading police, according to Zach Greenwell of the Bowling Green Daily News.

The 23-year-old is being held on a $10,000 bond at Warren County Regional Jail.

Higbee is considered by many to be one of the top tight ends available in the upcoming NFL draft after recording 48 receptions for 563 yards and eight touchdowns during his senior year.
