Holly Holm seeking Miesha Tate rematch for UFC 200
Holly Holm wants to run it back against Miesha Tate as soon as possible.
Still stinging from dropping the UFC women's bantamweight title to Tate on Saturday, Holm posted a picture on Instagram of the final moments of the fight accompanied by a message asking for a rematch at UFC 200 on July 9.
"This is how Saturday night ended but it's not the end for me," Holm wrote. "I am going to train hard and show that I am better than this. I am down but not out. Thank you Miesha Tate for the opportunity last weekend. Well done.
"What do you say? ... Let's do this again. UFC 200 is just around the corner."
Holm also tagged UFC president Dana White in the post. White has said that former 135-pound champ Ronda Rousey will be the first to challenge Tate, but with Rousey not expected to be back until the fall, Tate will be available to defend her title before then.
