Hendricks named captain of US Men's National Team at World Championship

USA Hockey has named its leaders.
Edmonton Oilers forward Matt Hendricks will captain the American squad at the World Championship which begins for the US on Friday when they play Finland.
Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk and Los Angeles Kings forward Trevor Lewis will serve as the alternate captains.
The Americans will head to the Czech Republic with a fairly young squad, with Hendricks being the oldest player on the squad at 33 years of age.
Along with the aforementioned captains, the US will field a team featuring youngsters Seth Jones, Dylan Larkin and Jack Eichel.
