Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel will make his season debut Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets after being upgraded to available, the club announced.
Knueppel's been out of action while recovering from a hamstring strain he sustained in late September.
The Hornets are off to a 3-5 start without Knueppel and shooting 29.6% from three. The 21-year-old shot 42.5% from beyond the arc on almost eight attempts per game last season.
He averaged 18.5 points per game with 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 2025-26 en route to a second-place finish in Rookie of the Year voting behind Dallas Mavericks star Cooper Flagg.
Knueppel's expected to step into a larger role for the Hornets after Charlotte traded LaMelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the offseason.
