Heat's Butler wouldn't give up coffee in exchange for NBA title
As much as Jimmy Butler would like to win an NBA title, there's one thing he wouldn't sacrifice to make it happen.
The Miami Heat star was asked in an interview with Sports Illustrated's Rohan Nadkarni if he'd give up coffee for a year in exchange for a championship.
"Hell no," he replied.
Butler's love of coffee became a hot topic during the NBA bubble in Orlando, where he turned his hotel room into a makeshift coffee shop selling $20 cups of java. He launched his BigFace coffee brand in 2021 and has said he plans to remain in the coffee business after his basketball career is over.
In the meantime, Butler remains focused on capturing his first championship.
"As we start off this new season, it's the same goal as always since I've entered this league, and that's to get my team to a championship," Butler said. "Last year was last year; we're past that."
