Report: 3-team deal centered around Wizards' Porzingis falls apart
The three-team deal centered around Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis has fallen apart with all sides deciding to move on, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Los Angeles Clippers' concerns over Malcolm Brogdon's injury status led to talks breaking down, reports NBA insider Marc Stein.
Washington is still trying to ship Porzingis to the Boston Celtics in an opt-in-and-trade scenario without the Clippers' involvement, adds Wojnarowski.
Porzingis has until midnight ET to exercise or decline his $36-million player option for next season.
The reported multi-team trade was in its final stages and would've sent Porzingis to Boston. The Wizards would've received Danilo Gallinari, Marcus Morris, Amir Coffey, and the 30th pick in Thursday's NBA draft. The Clippers would've landed Brogdon, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year.
