Mage made a late charge, surging down the final stretch to win the 149th edition of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday.

Two Phil's finished second, followed by Angel of Empire.

Mage, which entered the race at 15-1 odds, finished in 2:01:57. Trainer Gustavo Delgado's horse had one win in three previous races.
