Lane Kiffin doesn't appear to be interested in leaving Ole Miss.

The Rebels head coach, who's been speculated as a potential candidate to become Auburn's new sideline boss, publicly denied on Monday a report stating that he plans to join the Tigers next year.

"That's news to me," Kiffin tweeted.

Kiffin met with his players to let them know he hasn't accepted a job at any other school, sources told ESPN's Chris Low.

This isn't the first time Kiffin's been linked to the Tigers since they fired coach Bryan Harsin on Oct. 31. Auburn's vacancy is arguably considered the most attractive job in college football for next year. Still, Kiffin said he's happy with what Ole Miss has built with him on the sideline.

"I'm extremely happy here. ... The difference of where this program is now compared to three years ago, and I feel that we have really good support, "he said Monday, according to Tom Green of AL.com."

Kiffin is in his third season at Ole Miss. The 47-year-old has posted a 23-11 record, including an 8-3 campaign in 2022. The Rebels will conclude their regular season against Mississippi State on Thursday.
