Peters restrained while shouting at Harbaugh after Ravens blow big lead

Tempers flared on the Baltimore Ravens' sideline in the final seconds of Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Members of Baltimore's coaching staff had to restrain cornerback Marcus Peters during a testy exchange with head coach John Harbaugh. Afterward, Peters threw his helmet, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Harbaugh downplayed the incident postgame.

"We're on the same page," the coach said, according to Hensley. "We have an honest relationship. I love Marcus Peters. I hope he still loves me."

The Ravens blew a 20-3 lead against the Bills, who scored 20 unanswered points to clinch the 23-20 victory. Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass nailed the walk-off field goal minutes after Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was intercepted on a fourth-and-goal by safety Jordan Poyer. Harbaugh decided to go for it on fourth down at Buffalo's 2-yard line instead of kicking a short field goal to take a three-point lead with under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

"I felt like it gave us the best chance to win the game," Harbaugh said of his controversial decision, per Hensley.

Baltimore is just the second team in NFL history to lose multiple times after leading by at least 17 points within its first four games. The Ravens blew a 21-point lead to the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.
