Report: Tigers eyeing Gray, DeSclafani

The Detroit Tigers are on the hunt for starting pitching help.
Free-agent right-hander Jon Gray is on the Tigers' radar, a source told Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
Detroit is also pursuing right-hander Anthony DeSclafani, reports Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Gray, who pitched with the Colorado Rockies for seven years, owns a 3.91 FIP with 849 strikeouts over 829 1/3 innings (151 starts). However, the 30-year-old has a career 4.59 ERA.
Meanwhile, DeSclafani put together the best campaign of his career in 2021 while with the San Francisco Giants. The 31-year-old accrued a 3.17 ERA with an MLB-best two shutouts in 167 2/3 innings (31 starts).
