The Los Angeles Dodgers are on the hunt to add a starting pitcher before the July 30 trade deadline, a source told Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.
Los Angeles, which occupies the top wild-card spot in the National League, is in a precarious situation with its starting rotation.
Trevor Bauer hasn't pitched since June 28 due to administrative leave, Clayton Kershaw isn't throwing because of forearm inflammation, and Dustin May underwent Tommy John surgery in May.
Los Angeles' healthy starters include Walker Buehler, Julio Urias, and Tony Gonsolin, while top pitching prospect Josiah Gray makes his MLB debut Tuesday.
The club's starters have accrued 10.2 fWAR this season with a major-league-best 3.00 ERA.
