Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo will miss the rest of the postseason after tearing a ligament in his left ankle, the Bucks announced.

DiVincenzo's non-contact injury came during the Bucks' Game 3 win over the Miami Heat on Thursday. The third-year guard was driving along the baseline when he suddenly pulled up in pain and quickly limped over to the Bucks' bench.

Though Milwaukee is in a comfortable position against the Heat with a 3-0 series lead, the impact of DiVincenzo's absence could become more apparent in the second round. If the Bucks advance, they will face either the Brooklyn Nets or Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Brooklyn currently boasts a 2-0 series lead over Boston.

DiVincenzo averaged 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals during the regular season in his first full year as a starter for Milwaukee. Though he posted just eight points in the opening two games of the first-round series, the 24-year-old totaled 17 rebounds and eight assists across the pair of contests.
