Report: Oladipo turns down 2-year, $45.2M extension from Rockets

Victor Oladipo recently turned down a two-year, $45.2-million max contract extension from the Houston Rockets, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oladipo is reportedly pursuing a longer contract, which the Rockets can't offer him until the offseason due to the NBA's collective bargaining agreement.

The two-time All-Star is in the final season of a four-year, $85-million contract. The Rockets reportedly haven't discussed any trades involving Oladipo.

Houston acquired Oladipo from the Indiana Pacers in January as part of the four-team deal that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets.

The former No. 2 overall pick is still trying to rediscover his old two-way form after rupturing the quad tendon in his right knee two years ago.

Oladipo is averaging 18.9 points, 4.9, boards, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals through 12 appearances with the Rockets. However, he's only shooting 39.1% from the field, including a 29.5% 3-point clip.
