Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry became the eighth player in NFL history to amass at least 2,000 rushing yards in a single season.

Henry entered Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with a league-high 1,777 yards on the ground, and another outstanding performance saw him top the 2,000-mark in the fourth quarter.

Eric Dickerson (2,105 yards, 1984), Adrian Peterson (2,097, 2012), Jamal Lewis (2,066, 2003), Barry Sanders (2,053, 1997), Terrell Davis (2,008, 1998), Chris Johnson (2,006, 2009), and O.J. Simpson (2,003, 1973) are the only other running backs to run for 2,000 yards in a season.

Johnson, who also reached the milestone while playing for the Titans, reacted to Henry's record on social media.

Henry finished Sunday with 250 yards and two touchdowns on 34 rushing attempts. He's topped 200 rushing yards in three straight games versus the Texans.

The 27-year-old, who ends the year with 2,027 yards on the ground, has led the NFL in rushing attempts, yards, and touchdowns in each of the last two seasons.
