Korean shortstop Ha-seong Kim has been posted by the Kiwoom Heroes of the Korean Baseball Organization, sources told MLB Network's Jon Morosi.
Major League Baseball teams can begin negotiating with the 25-year-old infield star and have the ability to sign him between now and Jan. 1, Morosi adds.
Kim immediately becomes one of the top free agents available. He slashed .294/.373/.493 with 133 home runs, 191 doubles, and 575 RBIs over seven impressive seasons in the KBO.
The Bucheon native had the best campaign of his career with the Heroes last year, hitting .306/.397/.523 with 30 homers, 109 RBIs, and 23 steals.
Kim has already reportedly drawn interest from the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers.
