Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler agreed to a significant multi-year signature shoe deal with Li-Ning, ESPN's Nick DePaula reports.

The five-time All-Star had been with Jordan Brand since 2015, but both sides agreed to part ways in January.

Li-Ning has a lifetime deal with Heat legend Dwyane Wade, while CJ McCollum and Evan Turner are among the current NBAers signed to contracts with the Chinese brand.

During his first season in Miami, Butler averaged 19.9 points, 6.7 boards, six assists, and 1.8 steals while also leading the club to its first Finals appearance since 2014.
