Dana White denied a report Tuesday that said the UFC 257 rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier was a done deal.

"Dustin is signed, but Conor hasn't received or signed his bout agreement," the UFC president told ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "We sent the bout agreement to Conor today, but nothing is done yet."

White said if the matchup is finalized, it will take place Jan. 23 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It would be contested in the lightweight division, sources told ESPN's Ariel Helwani.

"There are a ton of ifs right now," White said. "I have to see where the world is at in the next couple of months."

Though McGregor hasn't signed his contract, the former two-division champion isn't expected to be a hurdle in finalizing the bout, according to Helwani.
