With the No. 15 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic have selected North Carolina point guard Cole Anthony.

Anthony, the son of former NBA player and current television analyst Greg Anthony, was a bright spot during one of the worst seasons in Tar Heels history. The 20-year-old averaged team highs in points (19.5 per game), assists (four), and steals (1.3).

The playmaker set a new school and ACC record by a freshman in their collegiate debut with 34 points in North Carolina's season opener. Although Anthony had more high-scoring games throughout the 2019-20 campaign, he missed two months of action due to a knee injury. Anthony still earned All-ACC third-team honors, but says fans never saw the best of him.

"I really didn't get to fully showcase that much this year at UNC. I was honestly just a shadow of myself," Anthony told reporters, including theScore, during his recent NBA draft media availability. "I really wasn't that healthy ... I think I bring a lot to the table, especially with NBA spacing. I think I really can add a lot to a team right now."
