Each week, we'll highlight the best NFL betting trends and angles to consider as you prepare for the weekend's action. We finally broke our .500 spell with a 2-1-1 record a week ago - can we have a perfect slate this time around?

Here are some notable trends to watch for in Week 8.

Steelers @ Ravens (-3.5, 46.5), 1 p.m. ET

The best rivalry in football writes another chapter Sunday, but it hasn't been much of a rivalry for bettors. The Ravens are 7-3-1 against the spread in their last 11 games against the Steelers and own a five-game ATS win streak against AFC North foes. They're also 9-3 ATS after a bye week since John Harbaugh took over in 2008, best by any team over that stretch.

Trend play: Ravens -3.5

Titans (-5.5, 54) @ Bengals, 1 p.m.

Beware the letdown game for the Titans, who lost their first contest of the season a week ago. Teams to snap an undefeated run in Week 7 or later are 3-7 ATS in the following game over their last 10 tries. The Bengals are also 8-2-2 ATS as an underdog since Week 11 of last season, including 7-0-2 when catching 10 or fewer points.

Trend play: Bengals +5.5

Jets @ Chiefs (-19.5, 48.5), 1 p.m.

The biggest spread of this young season is upon us, and it's great news for chalk bettors. Since 2012, favorites of at least 17 points are 8-2 ATS with an average scoring margin of 26.1 points. The Chiefs are 5-1 ATS in their last six as double-digit favorites, while the Jets are 3-9 ATS as double-digit underdogs since 2016.

Trend play: Chiefs -19.5

Rams (-3.5, 46) @ Dolphins, 1 p.m.

Looking for some unconventional but compelling trend plays? Teams coming off more than a week's rest are 4-11-2 ATS in their last 17 games against teams coming off a short week, which applies with the Dolphins off a bye and the Rams coming off a Monday night game. Home 'dogs of more than three points with at least eight days' rest are also 1-19 ATS in their last 20 games.

Trend play: Rams -3.5
