With the No. 33 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves have selected Minnesota standout Daniel Oturu, who is reportedly headed to the New York Knicks.

The big man had a highly productive sophomore season for the Golden Gophers, averaging a team-high 20.1 points while leading the Big Ten in both boards (11.3) and blocks (2.5) per game. He also topped the conference with a 56.3 field-goal percentage and tied for seventh in the nation with 18 double-doubles.

Oturu began expanding his offensive game away from the basket after operating mostly in the post during his freshman year. His development into a stretch-five option could bode well for his potential in today's 3-point-heavy NBA.
