'The Last Dance' nominated for multiple Emmy awards

"The Last Dance" is in the running for best documentary at the 72nd annual Emmy Awards.
The 10-part ESPN miniseries, which chronicles Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, was among the nominees announced Tuesday in the outstanding documentary or nonfiction series category. It also picked up nominations for outstanding directing for a documentary/nonfiction program and outstanding picture editing for a nonfiction program.
Other series nominated for outstanding documentary are "American Masters," "Hillary," "McMillion$," and "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness."
"The Last Dance" overtook "Tiger King" as the world's most in-demand documentary.
The Emmys will air Sept. 20 on ABC.
