Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams will undergo a 10-day quarantine period and miss his team's first two seeding games after he visited a "gentleman's club" during an excused absence, the league announced Sunday, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

He'll also forfeit $150,000 in salary, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Williams was recently photographed at Atlanta's Magic City while away from the NBA's bubble. He later told league security he made a short visit to the business in order to pick up food, reports ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

The 14-year veteran began his quarantine Saturday and is slated to be back in the lineup Aug. 4 when the Clippers take on the Phoenix Suns.

Williams is once again among the contenders for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award. The 33-year-old is averaging 18.7 points and 5.7 assists in 29.3 minutes per game this season.
