Porn site bids $15M for Superdome naming rights
An adult website is hoping to soon see its name on the Superdome.
Stripchat.com announced a $15-million bid Thursday for the naming rights to the New Orleans Saints stadium, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. The Saints' agreement with their current naming rights partner, Mercedes-Benz, will expire in July 2021.
"We have been looking into penetrating the sports world and this is a wonderful opportunity," Stripchat communication director Max Bennett said.
He added, "We'd like to name it the 'Stripchat Superdome' and for it to be home to the future Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints."
Stripchat isn't the first adult site to make such a proposal. BangBros offered $10 million for the naming rights to the Miami Heat's arena in 2019.
