As promised, we got back to our winning ways in Week 8, nailing the teaser without so much as breaking a sweat. In fact, we didn't even need the points.

Let's keep our foot on the gas and pound out another winner in Week 9:

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Line: Jaguars +1.5

Teaser line: Jaguars +8.5

Gardner Minshew has done everything in his power to convince the Jaguars' brass that he deserves to keep the starting job when Nick Foles returns from injured reserve after the team's Week 10 bye. It remains to be seen which direction Jacksonville will go at quarterback, but a win over its AFC South rivals will go a long way to strengthen Minshew's claim.

The good news for him is that the Texans are miserable against the pass. Houston has allowed at least three touchdown passes in each of its last four games, as well as an average of over 300 yards through the air. The Jaguars have the firepower on offense to take advantage, while its defense has started to hit its stride.

Jacksonville has managed an astounding 29 sacks this season (fourth-most in the NFL), while the Texans have struggled mightily to keep Deshaun Watson upright. Their 24 sacks allowed are eighth-most in the league. In a game that the Jags should win outright, getting over a touchdown is highway robbery.

Washington Redskins at Buffalo Bills

Line: Bills -10

Teaser line: Bills -3

Let's start by looking at the quarterbacks the Bills have faced this season: Sam Darnold, Eli Manning, Andy Dalton, Tom Brady, Marcus Mariota, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Carson Wentz. Generally underwhelming, right? Dwayne Haskins, who's getting his first NFL start for the Redskins on Sunday, is worse than all of them. He's so bad that Jay Gruden was willing to lose his job instead of starting him.

Haskins came into last week's game in relief of Case Keenum (concussion) and overthrew an unbelievably wide-open Terry McLaurin in the middle of the field for an interception on one of his first passes. In fact, Haskins has thrown four interceptions on just 22 pass attempts this season; not even former Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman managed such an astoundingly bad interception-to-attempt ratio.

Sean McDermott's defense is allowing just 4.8 yards per play (third-fewest in the NFL) and a 73.7 passer rating against (third-lowest) this season. It's going to be a miserable day for Haskins in hostile territory against a Bills team hungry to avenge a lopsided defeat suffered at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles last week. It's entirely possible Buffalo's defense outscores the Redskins' offense here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Seattle Seahawks

Line: Buccaneers +5

Teaser line: Buccaneers +12

The Buccaneers have appeared in a number of NFL betting articles this week, so you should be invested in them Sunday. While the Seahawks have had some uninspiring performances against weaker opponents this year, it feels as though - and the line reflects this - the jury is still out on Seattle.

Whenever a 6-2 team is laying just five points at home to a 2-5 outfit, eyebrows should be raised. Oddsmakers obviously buy into the notion that the Seahawks' true abilities are not reflected in their record, and the same can be said about the Bucs'.

Seattle is allowing an alarming 6.2 yards per play on defense - only the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins have managed worse. That's a bad stat with Tampa Bay coming to town, as the Bucs are running the third-most plays per game on offense. They're also averaging 12.4 yards per completion (second behind the Kansas City Chiefs), which is how they'll attempt to control this game, as Tampa's receivers pose a significant mismatch for a vulnerable Seattle secondary.

Full teaser: Jaguars +8.5, Bills -3, Buccaneers +12 ($100 to win $135)
