New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold said he was "seeing ghosts" against the New England Patriots, and his opponents in Week 8, the Jacksonville Jaguars, won't let him live it down.

After a multi-week absence due to mono, Darnold looked solid in the Jets' Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys but collapsed against the Patriots last week. The sophomore pivot managed just 86 yards on 11-for-32 passing with four interceptions and a fumble during the 33-0 loss.

Darnold was heard on the sideline saying he was "seeing ghosts" during the defeat, and the Jaguars have taken note. First, defensive back D.J. Hayden took a jab at the Jets signal-caller.

Then, before Sunday's game, seemingly everyone in Jacksonville had some fun at the quarterback's expense.

Darnold did not play well on the day, tossing three picks in a 29-15 loss. To make matters worse, with two minutes remaining, the Jaguars stadium put a Darnold blooper reel up on the videoboard and set it to the theme song from "Ghostbusters."
