Remember Week 1? We hit that opening parlay and life was good. It's been tough sledding since, but this week we think we have a winner.

We have a much better feel for teams by now, and it's getting easier to pick and choose our spots. With that being said, here's what's on tap for Week 5:

Vikings at Giants over 43.5 (-110)

Daniel Jones hysteria continues to sweep across NYC. The rookie quarterback is 2-0 (and 2-0 ATS) since taking over for Eli Manning, and he's got Giants fans excited again. Of course, with the Vikings' defense coming to town, it could all come crashing down.

Everson Griffen and Danielle Hunter will get in the face of the young gunslinger, but that's where Jones' athleticism comes into play. He's evasive in the pocket, and his scrambling ability should keep the Vikings' defense on its toes. Jones still needs to learn to protect the ball, though, and he's lucky he didn't turn it over more against the Redskins. He won't be so lucky against a ball-hawking defense well-equipped to take advantage. It should lead to some ample scoring opportunities for a Minnesota offense in desperate need of a spark.

It's been a tumultuous week in Minnesota following Adam Thielen's comments and Stefon Diggs mysteriously missing practice on Wednesday. This feels like it could be a big game from them, with Kirk Cousins spreading the ball and padding the stats - as he tends to do against weaker teams. The Giants had the NFL's worst secondary through three weeks until a game with the lowly Redskins and will be without rookie linebacker Ryan Connelly. It could be a long day for their defense. The over is also 6-2 in the Vikings' last eight games as a road favorite.

Texans ML -230 (vs. Falcons)

Until Dan Quinn gets the boot, the Falcons will be a regular fade. Atlanta looks soft and unmotivated with the fifth-year head coach. The ceiling caved in during their loss to the Titans in Week 4, with a fourth-quarter performance that suggested the team has quit on Quinn. It was so bad, the Falcons had to take to social media for damage control.

Nothing shouts "we care" more than the head coach having to come out and say it. Now Atlanta has to head to Houston to take on an angry Texans team following their loss to the Panthers.

Deshaun Watson has been far from his best at home this season, but he will have a lot more time to throw against a soft defensive front. That's got to concern Falcons fans after Marcus Mariota torched their secondary for three first-half touchdown passes in Atlanta - one fewer than he had notched through the first three weeks of the season. Watson is 7-2 in his career coming off a loss and should comfortably lead the Texans to victory on Sunday.

Chargers ML -280 (vs. Broncos)

Poor Vic Fangio. The Broncos head coach is not at risk to be fired given he's brand new to the role, but he needs to channel his experience and take charge before things spiral even further out of control. The Broncos have lost a pair of heartbreaking games at home, but have failed to be competitive away from Mile High. Joe Flacco is on his last legs, and players have become miserable amidst the "world of suck" they're trapped in.

Denver typically performs well on the road versus the Chargers, winning six of their last eight against them in that spot, including a 23-22 victory last season. But this Broncos team is worse than any other over that span, and there are few, if any, redeeming qualities. The Chargers' offense is rolling and now Melvin Gordon is back in the fold, the same week the Broncos lost pass-rusher Bradley Chubb for the season. The Dolphins need to be careful, because Denver is gunning for that No. 1 pick.

Parlay: Vikings/Giants over 43.5, Texans ML, Chargers ML ($50 to win $138)

Season record: 1-3 (-$16)
