Last week, we saw Auburn cover the number easily as a favorite while Rice continued its surge against the spread.

Here are some trends to keep an eye out for in Week 6:

Auburn at Florida

Auburn continues to mow over teams as a favorite. Entering Week 5 with a 7-0 record against the spread and outscoring teams by nearly four touchdowns per game when giving points, the Tigers moved the streak to 8-0 following a 56-23 win over Mississippi State. Auburn is once again a favorite in Week 6, this time at Florida.

Trend play: Auburn -3

Tulane at Army

Army will be a home underdog for just the sixth time since 2015 when it hosts Tulane on Saturday. If the Black Knights' performance in Week 6 is even remotely similar to their previous showings in this spot, expect the offense to struggle. In five games as a home underdog under head coach Jeff Monken, Army is 5-0 to both the under and team total under, averaging just 13 points per game.

Trend play: Under 45 and Army team total under ~21

Baylor at Kansas State

Texas head coach Tom Herman's track record when getting points has been well documented. Baylor's Matt Rhule might be trying to supplant him in the Big 12. The Bears won outright over Iowa State as three-point underdogs last weekend, moving them to 5-0 against the spread in their last five when catching points. After winning four of those five outright, Rhule and Co. get another shot at an upset in Week 6 against Kansas State.

Trend play: Baylor +2

Iowa at Michigan

Iowa isn't typically a shootout team. Put the Hawkeyes on the road, however, and suddenly there are points galore. Iowa's currently on a 6-1 run to the over as the visitor, averaging a mind-boggling 41 points per game over that stretch. Michigan's defense has had some lapses this season, so the Hawkeyes' offense has potential as a sneaky buy-low unit for Week 6.

Trend play: Over 48 and Iowa team total over ~21.5

Michigan State at Ohio State

Michigan State was an underdog in five games last season, all of which shared one commonality: Low scoring. The Spartans went under the total in all five when getting points in 2018, with the average combined score coming in at just 29.6 points per game. They're the underdogs again in Week 6 at Ohio State, with the total at 49.5.

Trend play: Under 49.5

UTSA at UTEP

Want a neat situation involving UTSA? Play the under when the Roadrunners are the chalk. They're 8-1 to the under over their last nine games as favorites. UTSA is also 13-3 to the under in its last 16 conference games.

Trend play: Under 45.5

Northwestern at Nebraska

Northwestern covered as a 24-point road underdog to Wisconsin last week, pushing head coach Pat Fitzgerald to 14-4-1 against the spread in the last 19 as a 'dog. Fitzgerald also has 10 outright wins over that sample. Perhaps his Wildcats can catch Nebraska in a hangover spot after Ohio State gave the Cornhuskers a prime-time whipping in Week 5.

Trend play: Northwestern +7.5
