Daniel Levy is up to his old tricks.

Tottenham Hotspur's shrewd chairman has slapped a £250-million price tag on Harry Kane in an effort to scare off interested parties, according to the Telegraph's Matt Law.

That figure is expected to end any possible moves from Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Manchester City for the marksman with 129 goals in 187 Premier League appearances.

Kane, 26, has recently expressed a desire to win major trophies during his playing career, heightening concerns at Spurs that the striker will seek a transfer at the end of the season. The League Cup is already out of reach following Tuesday's humiliating third-round elimination to League Two's Colchester United.

Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, and Jan Vertonghen are all in the final season of their respective deals, so Levy is determined to hold onto the players who are tied to longer contracts in north London. Kane's paperwork lasts until 2024.
