Report: Jaguars likely to trade Ramsey after TNF
It appears the Jacksonville Jaguars are likely to trade disgruntled cornerback Jalen Ramsey but don't expect a deal to be finalized imminently.
The Jaguars are reportedly unlikely to move Ramsey prior to Thursday Night Football when they battle the Tennessee Titans, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who adds that Friday is the most likely target date.
Head coach Doug Marrone told reporters Wednesday that Ramsey will suit up against Tennessee.
"Jalen and I have always had a good, open relationship," Marrone said, according to NFL Network's Tiffany Blackmon. "... We sat down yesterday and talked about what went on with him and I ... that's behind us right now."
The 24-year-old spoke with the media Tuesday but declined to directly address his trade request, which his agent confirmed Monday.
Ramsey denied previous reports that his desire to be moved was the result of a Week 2 altercation with Marrone.
Jacksonville reportedly set its asking price for the two-time Pro Bowl defender at two first-round picks.
