Stephen Curry won't appear in "Space Jam 2."

The Golden State Warriors star told Sopan Deb‏ of the New York Times that he turned down a role due to scheduling conflicts.

"I said no. The timing of it," Curry said. "I know LeBron and (producer) Ryan Coogler are going to be doing amazing things. It's going to be awesome. Part of it was in terms of things that I had going on. It was just the timing, to be honest. Not being able to commit. And I know Ryan really well. We had a lot of conversations about it."

When asked if it was hard to turn down, Curry replied, "For sure."

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo revealed in April that he also declined an offer to join LeBron James in "Space Jam 2."

Production on the film is currently underway in Los Angeles.
