LeBron James has reportedly been having trouble recruiting stars to join him in "Space Jam 2," and we now know of at least one player who turned down the opportunity.
Giannis Antetokounmpo revealed in an interview with ESPN's Malika Andrews that he declined an offer to appear in the film, which would've required him to sacrifice two weeks of private workouts in order to train with the other stars.
"I don't like being Hollywood," the Milwaukee Bucks forward said. "I don't like all this extra drama. I am just going to try to be me."
Production on "Space Jam 2" will begin this summer, with the film scheduled to hit theaters July 16, 2021.
