LeBron James apparently hasn't had much luck convincing other NBA stars to join him in "Space Jam 2."
During a Thursday appearance on "The Jump," ESPN reporter Brian Windhorst said James hasn't been able to close deals with some of the "top guys" he wants to be in the film. Windhorst declined to say which players James has approached.

Besides James, the only person known to have a role in the film is "Star Trek: Discovery" actress Sonequa Martin-Green, who has reportedly been cast as the Los Angeles Lakers star's wife.
Production on "Space Jam 2" is scheduled to begin this summer in Los Angeles.
