Report: Sonequa Martin-Green set to play LeBron's wife in 'Space Jam 2'

"Star Trek: Discovery" actress Sonequa Martin-Green is reportedly being cast in "Space Jam 2."

Martin-Green is in negotiations to join the Warner Bros. film and will play the wife of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, sources told Justin Kroll of Variety.

Martin-Green stars as Michael Burnham on "Star Trek: Discovery" and previously played the role of Sasha Williams on AMC's "The Walking Dead."

"Space Jam 2" will begin production this summer and is slated to hit theaters on July 16, 2021.
