Milwaukee Bucks center Pau Gasol has been ruled out for the rest of the postseason after undergoing surgery Thursday to repair a navicular stress fracture in his left foot.
In late March, Gasol was reportedly only expected to miss a month with the injury.
The Bucks signed Gasol on March 3 after the 38-year-old agreed on a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs. The 18-year veteran was expected to shore up Milwaukee's frontcourt depth but only played a combined 30 minutes over three appearances.
Gasol is expected to make a full recovery in time for training camp.
