Nick Young has an interesting pitch for "Space Jam 2."

The free-agent guard made it known that he wants a role in the film while at Oracle Arena on Friday night to receive his 2018 championship ring from the Golden State Warriors.

"You gotta have a Swaggy in 'Space Jam.' If you want to sell tickets, you got to have me," Young said, according to Mark Medina of the Mercury News. "I can give them swag once they get their powers taken. They can come to me and I can be a sorcerer of swag. I can hand it out to them and give them hope."

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Thursday that LeBron James is having trouble recruiting stars to appear in "Space Jam 2." Filming is scheduled to begin this summer.
